Kentucky Halos scored on a wild pitch, a bases loaded walk by Ben White, and a hit by pitch in the second inning and a passed ball and an error in the fourth inning. Despite its efforts, Kentucky Halos couldn't finish the comeback.
Douglas Taylor got on base three times in the game for Dirtbags 16s Black. He doubled in the sixth inning.
Tyler Allen was shaky from the start, lasting only two-thirds of an inning on the bump for Kentucky Halos before the call to the bullpen. Allen gave up two hits and four runs.
Kentucky Halos scored two runs in the first inning, and then followed it up with two more in the fourth. In the first, Kentucky Halos scored on a two-run double by Taylor Combs, scoring Tanner Bell and Allen.
Dirtbags 16s Black increased its lead with three runs in the second. A clutch wild pitch scored Graham Upton to open the scoring in the frame.
